We had a very large whole take down of a Pecan Tree in our backyard. We at 1st started to get it trimmed versus whole take down; however, the trim wasn't that much of a big difference in taking whole tree down & with limbs, big & small ones continuously breaking, we weren't able to move them & couldn't worry about having to pay someone everytime a huge limb fell from this huge tree. Plus with us being retired & physically not able to do cleanup ourselves, it was the best decision we could make! Justin's crew did a phenomenal job! They got here & took down the whole tree within 4 to 5 hrs including their lunch break! We were shocked with the tree being as huge as it was that they were able to get it down & bundled for the logger crew to come & do their part of loading all the logs in such a short time frame! It was exciting watching the take down as they sure have the equipment to take a tree down! I thought people would be climbing the tree but they had robotic/claw equipment to take care of not having to climb, & limb shredder to shred the big limbs! They had a crew of 3 employees & they were nice & very professional! Cleaned up everything before leaving & even asked me to come out to see if everything was to my satisfaction bc they also took down a few limbs from another property that was overhanging onto our property making it difficult for the people that we have to pay to cut our grass. The lead guy (sorry to say I forgot his name) let me know the loggers would be coming to get all the logs removed. I had all this done on 6/22/26. The logger was scheduled to come on 6/23/26, however, called to inform me that it would be on 6/24, before coming. They came on time; however, the truck was so tall, that it pulled down a line leading to our neighbors house, which we believed to be a phone or cable line so they left. I called & reported this to the Receptionist at Justin Dugan Tree; however, before I got hung up good, the logger truck was back & he had a pole to raise the line because they had to come in to our lot to take tree down & collect logs using the neighbors gravel driveway. Once the logger got pulled in another smaller truck pulled in & 1st truck used the robotic/claw equipment & loaded the 2nd truck & it left & the rest of logs were loaded on to the 1st truck. It was amazing to watch! Can't do anything with new technology! Once all the logs were loaded, the Truck Logger Operator, got off of truck & raked & cleaned up the area really well. He came & collected the check after job was completed & told me his name, Travis & that he was Justin's brother-in-law. He was very nice & friendly as well as professional. He told me that he was going to take care of fixing the neighbors line back up before leaving & he did because I watched him from my window. He did a phenomenal job also! Our son has a tree that he needs down so I gave him Justin Dugan Tree Service number because when he's ready to have his tree down, he's gonna contact Justin. I highly recommend this Tree Service Company & if I decide later to get the tree stump taken up, I'll be calling Justin Dugan Tree Service, LLC, again. I would've had it grinded but didn't want to pay anymore than what I was quoted. They did cut it as low to the ground as they could & that was one more huge tree trunk! It was amazing to watch the logger direct the robotic/claw load that huge trunk on the truck! It was like a kid watching a movie for this old lady!😄

Sorry for the delay on posting my review; however, I've had so much going on that I just got around to posting. Better late than never, huh?😄

Thanks Justin & Thanks JD too. I didn't want to leave Justin's brother JD out because he came out & gave me a free estimate to look at our tree.

God Bless ya'll & all of your crew workers, stay safe🙏

Justin Dugan Tree Service was very professional to work with and made a difficult job look easy. They did some heavy duty trimming and raised the canopy on a large red oak tree. They also took down a dead tree and planted back a beautiful Japanese Red Maple. Justin and the crew have the best equipment and are highly skilled in their work. I will have them back in the future with no hesitation!

I hired Justin and his crew for a fairly large project that included concrete work, tree and stump removal, and light grading.
I’ll start with the positives - their strongest area is definitely tree and stump removal. That portion of the job was handled well and efficiently.

Justin himself is very personable and easy to work with. He’s a genuinely likable guy, which made communication throughout the project fairly smooth.
That said, there were some concerns with the overall execution. The grading work lacked attention to detail, leaving noticeable dips in the yard where water now collects and sits. Additionally, the concrete was poured right before a significant temperature drop, and no insulation measures were taken. As a result, the surface is already beginning to scale and will likely deteriorate further over time.

Given the cost of the project, I expected a higher level of workmanship and oversight. Unfortunately, the final result didn’t meet that expectation.

We've known Justin and family for years. Good people, who work hard. He made sure to squeeze us in last minute before the holiday, to remove some pine trees in our backyard so we could get a play set that came in late, up for our 3 kiddos before Christmas.

I called and spoke with Justin who came out right away and gave me some options and estimates for each one. A few days later, they were at my house and quickly took care of three problematic trees. They worked carefully and efficiently. I really was fascinated by the work. The workers were very professional and very knowledgeable. I definitely would recommend Justin Dugan’sTree Service.
